• "Take away" booklets to help you research options available from the Careers Centre
• Professional bodies are a great source of information – access through Google.
• Network/seek advice from anyone who can help e.g. academics, tutors, careers advisers, university alumni, friends, relatives, employers
• Gain work experience - paid or unpaid. You understand more realistically what a job entails by doing it.
