The range of jobs which graduates enter is wide, with direct entry often possible e.g. Civil Service, banking, and postgraduate study helpful or required for others e.g. social work, legal profession.

- Attend careers fairs.
- Attend relevant career talks.
- "Take away" booklets to help you research options available from the Careers Centre
- Professional bodies are a great source of information – access through Google.
- Network/seek advice from anyone who can help e.g. academics, tutors, careers advisers, university alumni, friends, relatives, employers
- Gain work experience - paid or unpaid. You understand more realistically what a job entails by doing it.
