Erasmus Exchange - Incoming Students
Waterford Institute of Technology has bilateral agreements with over 50 different colleges within the EU. We welcome European students on the Erasmus exchange programme every year into our Schools of Business, Humanities, Science, Engineering and Health Science.
If you, as a student, wish to apply to WIT for an Erasmus exchange you must make this application through the Erasmus Institutional Co-ordinator of your home college. You will be required to complete our Erasmus application form which asks you to specify your intended area of study and length of time to plan to stay at the Waterford Institute of Technology.
Our academic year commences in September and ends the following May. We accept applications for either:
- The Full Academic Year (Early September to June)
- The First Academic Term (September to Late December)
The closing date for receipt of applications for September of each year will be the 31st May of that year.
