SISK Award for Excellence in Project Management & Research

The 2010 Sisk Award for Excellence in Project Management & Research on the BSc (Honours) in Construction Management & Engineering degree programme at Waterford Institute of Technology was presented by Declan Gahan, Contracts Manager, John Sisk & Sons to Brendan Kealy on the 20th May last.

Brendan is from Ballylinan, Co. Laois and he is currently completing his final year degree studies at WIT.  The title of his dissertation was "Project Planning on Industrial Energy Projects".

The runners-up were James Cliffe from Ballinamult, Co. Waterford with his thesis - "Site Investigation & the New Government Contracts" and Finnian O’Hanlon from Cavan with "Sustainability in Construction".
