WIT strengthens Chinese links

WIT continues to strengthen its links with the Chinese education sector and have completed a Memorandum of Understanding with Changchun University of Technology.  Changchun University of Technology is located in Changchun City, the north east of China. It's a key provincial and comprehensive university with specialities in science, and engineering. CCUT has 18 schools covered science, arts, law, business, education, engineering. It has a total enrollment of 16000 full-time students including undergraduate and postgraduates.

The Chinese university delegation led by Prof. Dong Yuhui of Changchun University of Technology visited WIT on the 8th July and were welcomed by WIT registrar, Dr. Derek O'Byrne.  Mr. Don O'Neill, International Office Manager, and Hellen Kang, China Liaison Co-ordinator were also in attendance for the signing of the Memorandum Of Understanding between the two institutions.
