Business Education & Teaching Research Group

The Teaching and Learning Research Group is a new group within the School of Business which has particular focus on the range of teaching and learning issues which affect the education of our students. In that regard this group has been established so that a framework for the enhancement of business education can be developed which harnesses our key abilities in research, teaching and engagement with practice.

This new group is the result of engagement with a large number of researchers/lecturers in the School of Business and builds upon the myriad of experience and capabilities therein. This research is focused on the development and enhancement of teaching methodologies within the School and emplacing a framework to assist with that development. This framework is multi-faceted and includes engagement with practice, external academia and students – all with the intent of developing a national network of teaching and learning excellence of which the School will be a central figure.
