Welcome to WIT Computer Services
The Computer Services department is responsible for the maintenance and development of Institute IT facilities including general computing facilities for staff and students, data and phone networks, e-mail facilities and MIS systems. Some specialised computer facilities associated with certain academic departments are managed by local technicians in these departments.

Computer Services Help Desk
We also maintain a help desk in the Walton Building at the Cork Road Campus, which is opened at the following times:
Problems with WIT IT facilities may be reported at our help desk, via the ‘phone or via email.

Opening Hours: Monday to Friday Morning: 9:30am to 12:30pm Afternoon: 2:00pm to 5:00pm Night/Evening (Monday to Thursday only): 6:30pm to 9:00pm Closed Saturday and Sunday Please note that during non-term times these hours are subject to change.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer a support service for personal, home computing equipment/software or for email facilities other than WIT email facilities.
There are many specialised software applications installed in a variety of computer labs throughout the Institute such as Photoshop, Autocad, SPSS, etc. Please refer to the appropriate academic departments for software queries and to the outlet where you purchased any home equipment for technical support.
